🚣‍♂️ WEEK 1 COMPLETE! 🚣‍♀️

An amazing effort from our and adult has seen us reach 51 miles in the first week of our 'Row the Thames...without the Thames' challenge, including another 29 miles rowed last night!

That leaves 149 miles still to go as we raise funds towards a new Trinity 500 rowing boat for Cheltenham Sea Cadets.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far 💙

Tonight we launched our latest fundraising challenge as we "Row the Thames...without the Thames!" beginning a virtual journey from Lechlade to Windsor and back again, a route chosen to commemorate an actual sponsored row completed by Cheltenham Sea Cadets almost 25 years ago. This time, we're doubling the distance and aiming for a total of 200 miles.

What a start! In just one evening, our cadets and volunteers rowed an impressive 21 miles, already taking us over 10% of the way to our target. Each participant had 10 minutes on the rowing machine to row as far as they comfortably could. We're really impressed with the encouragement, teamwork and support they all showed one another.

During September, we're raising funds towards the purchase of a new Trinity 500 rowing boat, helping us provide even more opportunities for our cadets to develop their rowing skills and enjoy adventures on the water. every donation will help get us closer to our goal.

💙 Please support our challenge by donating and sharing our fundraising page with friends, family and colleagues. Every donation will help get us closer to our goal:
