Huge well done to our rowing team, who came 2nd in their races at the Severn District Regatta🥈🚣‍♀️

Despite a rescheduling and last minute changes to the team, they did amazingly well - Well done team! 👍

A shout out to the Severn District team for getting the competition rescheduled so quickly - enabling all the teams to participate! 👏

A team of and adult attended the The Bands of HM Royal Marines Oceanaires Big Band concert at Cheltenham Town Hall last night.

Throughout the evening, our team helped by selling programmes and supporting the bucket collection, raising money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Cadets also had the opportunity to watch and enjoy the concert themselves. A huge well done and thank you to everyone involved for representing us so brilliantly 👏⚓🎺

It was fantastic to welcome the The Mayor of Cheltenham David Willingham to our unit to present our Annual Awards for 2025/26. Congratulations to all of our cadets who received awards and badges! 🏆

We were also sad to say goodbye to PO Parker who is leaving us after nearly 8 years as a volunteer - we wish him well for the future.

During the break we held a cake sale in aid of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity Stand Easy Campaign - raising a massive £142 - so a huge thankyou to everyone who donated 👍💙

Last night we were in our new temporary home in Sea Cadets - Cheltenham. A huge thank you to them for allowing us to parade there until something more permanent is found.

We have to say that as horrible as the past few weeks have been with the closure of our unit, the outpouring of support and offers of help have been amazing. The Sea Cadet family has truly pulled together to support us and we couldn’t be more grateful.

A fantastic visit to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for our and today. ⚓️

A chance for our team to see the Royal Navy through the ages, with a chance to see famous historic ships including the Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose as well as spotting a few new ones too!

A long day, but enjoyable and informative. Well done team 👍

Fantastic to see some of our on the ship simulator this evening, putting their newly learnt navigation module learning to the test - gaining a better understanding of buoyage and reading a chart, while navigating the Solent (…maybe some running aground as well)! 👍

The system enables our cadets to get “out on the water” and put their skills to the test, even when it’s wet and cold outside!

Great to see the first steps of our Solar Panel install has begun (…despite the weather 🌦️)

We are really pleased to be installing some new solar panels, thanks to a generous grant from Cheltenham Borough Council’s Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Fund. Our new will future proof our unit financially whilst reducing our carbon footprint too🌍👍

Fingers crossed for the rest of the installation🤞
