💚 Well that’s another year done!!! And here are our final totals: funds raised and spent!!! You can see how we’ve spend the money this year!! 💚

🐸 Thank you all for such an amazing year!! We are so lucky to have a wonderful school Glenfall Community Primary School , teachers, staff, parents, carers and Committee members!! ♥️

📚Library special Newsletter📚

💚As part of FrOGs week, we are publishing our last newsletter of this academic year! 📚And it focuses on our library. Hopefully you’ll have seen the reel on the transformation!! 💚 The newsletter contains some quotes from our teachers and staff on the impact the new library is having!! 📣

📗This newsletter highlights the work of our Grants Team! Becca and Caroline have done an epic job in this year securing these funds for us!! Thank you! 💚

🐸 Today was FrOGS day! This is now a much loved annual tradition set up by our previous Chair!!

♥️And we love it! Thank you to our sponsor County Building Supplies Group Having a sponsor means we can hold great events and raise more funds. Scroll along to find out more about the day ➡️➡️➡️➡️

➡️ Every year we encourage the children to wear green to show their support 🧑‍🎤.

FrOGS gives each class some money to get a classroom gift! And they find out what they are getting at a special assembly by popping a balloon 🎈 Our wonderful teacher rep Mrs Whyte tells the children all about what we do!!! ➡️

➡️ For gifts this year the teachers chose:

✅ Reception - Hot wheels cars 🚗 pens 🖊️ and sensory toys 🧸

Year 1 - Animals 🐶, dolls house people , finger puppets ♥️

Year 2 - Searching books 📚 and maze cube toys 🪀

Year 3 - Water colour paints 🎨 and good watercolour paper

Year 4 - Yoga experience 🧘‍♂️

Year 5 - Speakers 🔊 and good art paper 📝

Year 6 - Playing cards ♥️, paint brushes, pens, assorted games ➡️

♥️We also want to take this opportunity to spotlight one of our volunteers who made these incredible bookmarks 🔖 Rhian Newton . We massively appreciate the time and care put into these 💚

The book marks were given to the children as gifts with pens for year sixes 🖊️. We know how much the children will have loved getting these in their bags 🐸.

We also say goodbye to our previous Treasurer Julia whose son finishes Glenfall this year too! Thank you for everything!!! 🥰

💚 ESTIMATED AMOUNT RAISED for this year: £17,200 🤩

😀 Wow what a great year we’ve had!!!! 🥳

💚As part of this week’s FrOGS celebrations, we are highlighting how our Committee works and encouraging as many of you as we can to get involved!!! 😁

✅ We have some specific roles that we need to fill in the next academic year to enable us to deliver as many events as possible and raise funds for our school. The more volunteers we have the easier it is on the whole Committee to deliver!! 😀

🐸 We also have some Committee members with children in their last year of school next year. So there will be further vacancies and the chance to shadow someone in role!! ✅

Keep your eyes peeled 👀 for the date of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September and come along and find out more!!! 💚
😬Coming to the meeting doesn’t commit you to anything and we normally have sweet treats 🍭

💚This week we will be celebrating all things FrOGS!!! 🐸 ✅ We will be sharing information about our Committee, what we’ve been doing this year and the opportunities for you to get involved!!! 🍀

🐸 It’s also FrOGs day on Wednesday 15 July. Please bring in £1 in exchange for non-uniform and wear green to show us your support!!! 👗🩲Think green!!! Green hair, clothes, shoes, accessories…. 👒🧑‍🎤

A message from Glenfall Preschool: ❤️

☀️In previous years, Glenfall Preschool staff have run a very popular holiday club, and following a number of recent enquiries, we are exploring whether to offer this again for Summer 2026.🏝️

🤩To help us plan, please email us to let us know if this is something your family would use.🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Key details:

• Ages: 3–11 years (subject to staffing ratios)
• Cost: £35 per day
• Hours: 9am – 3pm
• Location: Preschool premises and Forest School
• Proposed dates: Two days per week across four weeks (dates to be confirmed)

✅ Places will be dependent on sufficient interest and staffing, so your response really does make a difference to whether we are able to go ahead. ♥️
