Explore Cheltenham’s diverse cultural history this summer, with a new heritage trail and the The Wilson's play season launching tomorrow!

Ten fascinating stories about the town have been brought to life through Cheltenham Story, a new interactive trail and online resource. From an elephant stampede on Albion Street in 1934 to the first successful parachute descent in Montpellier Gardens in 1838, the stories form part of a walking trail around the town, illustrating how heritage and innovation sit side by side.

We love a good love story… especially when it starts here.

On Sunday, we welcomed Christine and Fred Hill to Cheltenham Town Hall for ABBA by Candlelight - 52 years after they first met in the very same building at a dance band in 1974 (with Amarillo playing!).

Happy Anniversary and thanks for coming back to where it all began.

Over the May half term, Leisure at Cheltenham is offering a relaxed SEND inflatable soft play session for local families, thanks to the support of The Pied Piper Appeal.

Taking place on Wednesday 27 May from 10am to 11.30am, the session provides a calm, supportive space where children can enjoy inflatables, sensory toys and our SEND igloo, all at their own pace.

The session costs ÂŁ7.70 per child and is designed to be welcoming, low pressure and fun for SEND families looking for something gentle this half term.
