The cattle are in West Down for a week or so.

Sheep are still on the Common though tricky to spot in the hot weather as they seek shade. Please remain vigilant if walking dogs. Thank you.

Last month it was an absolute pleasure to work with Cotswolds National Landscape to support a group of students on work experience from The High School Leckhampton and Sir Thomas Rich's School

They reported the day spent with our Conservation Officer Giles as a highlight! They worked in our heather plots to help with regeneration there, and also did some water quality testing. As an added bonus they even saw and adder.

All the students were brilliant and we wish them all well with their futures.
