Eye Can Gloucester is just seven weeks away! If you're wondering what to expect, here's a little more about the day.

Eye Can Gloucester is a relaxed, welcoming exhibition where you can explore support, technology, equipment and services for blind and partially sighted people, all under one roof. You can:
• Talk to a wide range of organisations in one place
• Try equipment and technology for yourself
• Ask questions and get practical advice
• Discover local support and services
• Sit down, have a chat and take things at your own pace

There will also be a programme of short talks throughout the day, including digital technology, an opportunity to ask an experienced optometrist your questions, and more.

Whether you've recently been diagnosed, have been blind or partially sighted people for years, or are supporting a friend or family member, we'd love to welcome you.

A bit of a What’s On and this looks to provide a wow of a touch tour!

Rousham House and Gardens.

Join us on Wednesday, 12th August, for a historic touch tour around Rousham House and Gardens. We will be taken on an hour long guided tour around the house, followed by a picnic in the walled gardens. Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier.

Details:
- When: Wednesday, 12th August.
- Time: 11am - 3pm.
- Where: Rousham House and Gardens, Bicester.
- Price: £20 per person (payable at entrance).
- Please note: the house itself is not wheelchair accessible, however, the gardens are.

A blind motorcycle enthusiast has been given the chance to relive the thrill of the road.

After being approached by one of their members, the South Cotswold section of the Vintage Motorcycle Club arranged for Brian Hawkins, who is blind and previously owned motorcycles, to ride in a motorcycle and sidecar

Speaking to Mary Moss from the Cotswold Vale Talking Newspaper, Mr Hawkins said he had 'thoroughly enjoyed' the experience and was pleased other members rode with him, making it a shared outing rather than a solo trip.

We just wanted to let you know that The Cotswold Listener recently had a visit from Jo Durrant of BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

She interviewed all of News Team 7, then recorded two of the team reading and recording news articles.

She then interviewed June about TCL and wanted to know the processes we have to get the USBs to our Listeners, with then an appeal for more Listeners to register with us.

The article will be aired TOMORROW … Monday 20th April … on Jo's programme on BBC Radio Gloucestershire, which starts at 10.00 and finishes at 12.00 - she thought the TCL piece is likely to be between 11.00 & 12.00.
