We are genuinely humbled to be helping the Mark Long Trust deliver Schlongy’s legacy.

Their support will enable us to open the door to aviation to youngsters from all backgrounds. Disability and deprivation should not be barriers to this incredible world and it’s an honour to share the passion…

✈️ We were excited to welcome a very special visitor to Gloucestershire Airport today!

One of the wonderful pilots from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight & trustee of the Mark Long Trust dropped by in a Spitfire for lunch, what an incredible sight!

The Mark Long Trust works in partnership with fly2help to provide inclusive aviation introductions and educational opportunities for young people, inspiring the next generation through the magic of flight.

We are a little concerned, though… it seems Douglas Bear may have sneaked on board and enjoyed his very first flight in a Spitfire! 🧸🛩️

What an incredible Air Smiles weekend , and huge thanks go to BA HighFlight Pilots Charity for sponsoring these amazing days ☀️👨‍✈️🧑‍✈️

We hosted three very special events, two at Gloucestershire Airport and one at Bournemouth Airport, using the power of aviation to create unforgettable memories for three families going through challenging times.

From exciting flights and behind the scenes airport tours, to the the amazing fire crew at Bournemouth Airport, and a wonderful lunch at The Aviator Inn Glos, (huge thanks to Rich and team), every moment was filled with smiles, sunshine and kindness 💫

A truly memorable weekend that reminded us how much joy aviation can bring ✈️🚁🧡💙

With special thanks to the following;

Gloucestershire Airport ATC, Phil and Jan at Cotswold Aero Club, Tamsin at castleair.academy, Bournemouth Airport, aerobility, xlrjetcentres, Fire Dept Bournemouth Airport and all our amazing volunteers and car drivers who gave up their time to support our families 🎗️

And to Carly and Sharon Walters for all of their help on the day.

Sharon Bridge, thank you for sharing what we do at fly2help with the family, you started their journey of hope of better days to come.

Blessed.

A family who were experiencing dark times, who thought they couldn't smile again.

Today, everyone came together and showed them that people care and they're not alone, and they can smile again.

Thank you from everyone at fly2help x

As we mark the beginning of National Careers Week, the team from fly2help had the privilege of delivering our immersive Travelling Airport experience to the pupils of Milestone SEND School today, and the impact was unforgettable.

For many children this was their first real insight into the world of aviation, checking in passports, marshalling an aircraft and boarding the fly2help ‘flight’, they were spellbound.

Experiences like these are about so much more than airports and aircraft. They’re about building confidence, reducing anxiety around unfamiliar environments and helping young people imagine futures they may not have considered.

We are incredibly grateful to the Mark Long Trust for sponsoring this event. Their mission to improve lives and create meaningful opportunities for young people, particularly those who face additional barriers, was brought to life in the most inspiring way.

At the start of , what better reminder that every child deserves a future that includes them. ✈️💙🧡
