In line with the SWEP protocol, SWEP will be activated in Cheltenham on Friday 14th November 2025 due to a yellow/amber weather warning for rain during night hours. This is for the night of 14th November only.

If you see a rough sleeper bedded down at any time of year please complete a StreetLink referral. This connects people sleeping rough to local services (thestreetlink.org.uk) .

Anyone who finds themselves having to rough sleep can also refer themselves to Streetlink.

We have been advised that members of the public are receiving fraudulent text messages claiming to be from local authorities about parking fines.

The texts contain links to a fake Government website asking for personal and payment details.

The National Anti-Fraud Network (NAFN) advises that local authorities do not send such texts and recommends ignoring these messages and reporting them to Action Fraud.
