Smarties is a community baby and toddler group hosted and funded by Holy Trinity Church. While we are a church-run group, we are proudly open to all families, parents, grandparents, and carers in the local area, regardless of faith, background, or beliefs. Our aim is simply to provide a warm, inclusive, and safe space for local families to connect. Important Information
Cost: Completely free of charge (including refreshments for adults and children). Supervision: Parents and carers remain fully responsible for their children at all times during the session. Safeguarding: Holy Trinity Church adheres to robust safeguarding policies to ensure a safe environment for all children and vulnerable adults.

Smarties is back tomorrow! 🧸✨

We're so excited to reopen our doors tomorrow morning, Thursday 10 September, from 10:15am to 11:45am at Holy Trinity Church Hall!

Smarties is a completely free baby and toddler stay & play group for ages 0–4 and their grown-ups. We have a dedicated baby corner, free play, crafts, singing time, and free refreshments for everyone.

There's no need to book — just turn up, grab a cuppa, and enjoy time together with your littles ones while connecting with others in the local community.

Hi. Due to the hot temperatures tomorrow I'm afraid Smarties in the park is cancelled. Smarties is back on 10th September.

🤩 We're so excited that Tewkesbury Nature Reserve is joining us at Smarties this morning for a special session exploring all about birds, including a craft and a wonderful Cabinet of Cusiorities! 🐦🪶 🪺

The usual toys are here too 🚗🧸

🌞 Smarties is on tomorrow as usual (10:15–11:45) 25/6/26
We've checked the church building today and it's staying lovely and cool with the air conditioning on, so we'll be keeping activities indoors and adapting the session for the weather with some water and ice play.
That said, please use your own judgement about whether to attend. If your little one is unwell, struggling with the heat, or if travelling in the heat would be difficult for you, please do stay at home and keep cool.
If you are coming along, make sure everyone stays well hydrated and avoid leaving children in parked cars, even for a short time. The NHS also advises keeping babies and young children out of direct sun where possible and dressing them in lightweight clothing during hot weather.
For those who do join us, we'll have a cool, welcoming space ready and look forward to seeing you💙
