Cheltenham Animal Shelter is a charity that has been helping animals since 1926. Based in the heart of Gloucestershire, we rescue and rehome stray, unwanted and abandoned cats, dogs and small animals. Each year we care for hundreds of animals without the help of government funding so we rely greatly on the generosity of animal lovers like you to ensure that our doors remain firmly open. Cheltenham

Animal Shelter is an executive member of the ‘Association of Dogs and Cats Homes’, whereby we adhere to and exceed their code of practice. At our Cheltenham site, in addition to our rehoming facilities, we have dog and cat boarding facilities, dog daycare, dog grooming parlour, charity shop, and low-cost vet practice. Proceeds from these businesses help the rescue animals in our care.

Four-year-old Duggie is a wonderfully funny, charming boy who’s guaranteed to keep you smiling. Full of personality, he loves nothing more than tossing his squeaky toys around, enjoying enrichment games, and tucking into tasty treats.

While Duggie can be a little sensitive and prefers a calm, predictable environment, once he trusts you he is affectionate, loyal, and full of playful energy. He enjoys a fuss from his favourite people and thrives when given the time and space to build confidence at his own pace.

Duggie is looking for an experienced, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. A quiet home with a secure garden and someone around for much of the day would be ideal, helping him feel safe and settled.

This special boy may need a little patience, but in return you'll gain a loving, entertaining companion who will bring endless joy and plenty of laughs - email 👉[email protected] 👈 to apply or find out more!

Meet one-year-old Derek and Luca, a charming pair of boys looking for a home together.

These confident youngsters love exploring their enclosure and are always keen to see what’s going on around them. Friendly and sociable, they enjoy spending time with their carers and are more than happy to receive plenty of fuss and attention.

Both boys are big fans of their food, especially their greens! Derek is the more adventurous of the two and likes to investigate absolutely everything, while Luca is a little more reserved at first but takes confidence from his best friend. Together they make a wonderfully entertaining duo and are sure to bring lots of fun and personality to their new home.

Derek and Luca could be suited to either an indoor or outdoor setup and will need a spacious enclosure where they can continue to live happily together - email 👉 [email protected] 👈 to apply or find out more.
