✨️Play is never just play!✨️

It’s children creating and maintaining patterns, building sensory awareness, learning to work as a team, solving problems, and making sense of the living world around them.

👉️ It’s discovering textures, smells, movement, and change.

👉️ It’s learning how to assess risks, make decisions, and grow confidence in their own abilities.

👉️ Through play, children are shaping who they are and how they understand their place in the world.

Next Thursday is International Day of Play!
A day that's recognised by the United Nations and aimed at ensuring every child has the right to play. Whether you are creating opportunities to play or allowing children to find their own rhythm of play, the benefits are unmatched.

Protect play. Protect children.

This volunteers week we want to celebrate everyone who extends their kindness, energy and dedication make such a difference to the families we support. We are endlessly thankful for our incredible volunteers and the amazing work they do across all our centres.

From welcoming smiles and helping hands to playful moments to quiet chats, our volunteers bring warmth and care into everything they do. We truly appreciate everything you do.

To every volunteer who gives their time and heart: thank you. You make our community stronger, brighter and more connected.

✨️Are you able to help us?✨️

Oscar’s Reading Corner is run by Hannah Munro‑Pasquet, an Independent Usborne Partner working in partnership with Aspire.

Hannah is currently raising funds to provide even more high‑quality books for children and families across our centres.

The fundraising goal is £1000, which Usborne will generously top up with an extra £600 worth of free books, allowing us to reach even more families with engaging, high‑quality reading materials!

If you’d like to support this project, you can pledge any amount or choose specific books to donate. Every contribution is greatly appreciated.
