🐝🎶 SHALL WE SERENADE THE BEES AGAIN THIS SEPTEMBER? 🎶🐝

Last time we made some music for the bees… and they seemed to enjoy it! 🐝❤️

So we’re thinking… shall we do it again? 🌻🎸🎤

We’d love to put on a small, relaxed concert at the Honey Plot sometime in September — surrounded by wildflowers, bees and nature, with some good music and good company.

🐝💚 YOU CAN HELP PLEASE THE BEES — WITHOUT SPENDING AN EXTRA PENNY! 💚🐝

Did you know you can raise money for Please the Bees CIC simply by doing your normal online shopping?

Through Easyfundraising, thousands of retailers will give a small donation to your chosen cause when you shop through their website or app. It doesn’t cost you anything extra — the retailer makes the donation. 🛍️🌱

So if you're buying anything online — from groceries and clothes to gifts, holidays, train tickets or everyday essentials — you could be raising money for Please the Bees at the same time.

The money we raise will help us continue developing our community project here in Cheltenham, creating spaces for people to connect with nature, learn about bees and pollinators, improve biodiversity and make the Honeybourne Line a more welcoming place for everyone. 🐝🌻🌳

It really is a case of shop as normal and help the bees at the same time!

💚 Please sign up and choose Please the Bees CIC as your cause:

Even the smallest donations add up — and if lots of us use it, it could make a BIG difference to our little community project. 🐝❤️

🐝 The Next Phase of Please the Bees 🌻

We’re now thinking about the next phase of our project down the Honeybourne Line in Cheltenham and we’d love to hear what you think! 🌿🐝

Our current idea is to create a beautiful terraced seating area, with suitable steps leading down to a stunning hand-carved wooden bench, with a beehive positioned on either side. 🪵🐝🐝

We want to create somewhere special where our community can sit, relax, enjoy the bees, learn about pollinators and connect with nature. 🌼

But this is YOUR community space too…

What would you do? What would you like to see there?

Would you add more planting?
A bee-themed sculpture? 🐝
Information boards?
A children's learning area?
A wildlife habitat?
Something completely different?

We’re open to ideas — and if someone comes up with a better idea than ours, we’ll go with it! ❤️

The aim is to create something beautiful, accessible and inspiring that the whole community can enjoy, while helping people understand just how important bees and other pollinators are to our environment and food security.

So come on, Cheltenham… put your thinking caps on! 🧠🐝

What should we build?

Please comment with your ideas, suggestions, sketches or even crazy ideas! You never know — your idea could become part of the next chapter of Please the Bees. 🌻🐝

We're looking for a generous donation of a tree trunk from a tree that has had to be felled for any reason.

Rather than seeing it go to waste, Please the bees we'd love to give it a new purpose by transforming it into a beautiful hand-carved seating area for the community at the Honey Plot, along the Honeybourne Line in Cheltenham.

This unique piece will provide a place for people to sit, relax, and connect with nature while learning about the importance of bees and pollinators.

If you're a tree surgeon, landowner, or know of a suitable tree that's due to be removed, we'd love to hear from you. By repurposing the timber, we can create something lasting for both people and wildlife.

Please get in touch if you think you can help, and feel free to share this post with others who may be able to support the project. 🐝🌳
