It's Child Safety Week and today we're shining a light on road safety.
Younger children struggle to judge speed and distance, so modelling safe behaviour is key.
Road safety can be taught from a young age, here's some ways you can help them learn:
🤚Holding hands or using reins
🧠Talking about “stop, look, listen, think”
🏫Practising safe routes to school
🤳Encouraging them to put phones away when crossing roads
For more information on the safe storage of cleaning products, check out this advice from the Child Accident Prevent Trust: https://capt.org.uk/csw-road-safety/
Do you know we're running First Aid Workshops in June & July🤔
