Calling all local businesses and workplaces. We’d love you to join A Heart in Every Window for Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9–15 October.

Display a heart in your shop window or somewhere inside your workplace to show support for families affected by pregnancy and baby loss. We’ll send you a small sign to display beside it, explaining what the heart means and how people can support Holding Hearts.

It can be simple or as creative as you like. One heart is all it takes.

There’s no fee or donation needed to take part. Optional raffle prize donations are very welcome too.

What a day! ❤️

We think Cody deserves a bit of support this week.

We’re incredibly grateful to the captains at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex for choosing Holding Hearts as their charity this year, and their Junior Captain, Cody, has decided to take on a pretty huge challenge to help raise money for us.

He’s playing 21 rounds of golf in just 7 days. That’s 3 full rounds every day and around 75 miles on foot by the time he finishes.

He’s now three days in, has already clocked up some fairly ridiculous step counts and has had friends, family and members of the club joining him for rounds along the way.

We’re so grateful to Cody for putting this much time and effort into supporting Holding Hearts and the families our charity exists to help. Taking on 21 rounds in a week is no small commitment and we’d love to see plenty of support behind him as he makes his way through the rest of the challenge.

What a day! ☀️⛳️

Today we had the pleasure of joining the Captains’ Charity Day at Brickhampton Golf Club, where Holding Hearts is proud to be this year’s chosen Charity of the Year.

Despite temperatures soaring to around 35°C, golfers took to the course for a Texas Scramble, alongside a fantastic silent auction and raffle, all helping to raise vital funds for families experiencing pregnancy and baby loss.

A huge thank you to Ladies’ Captain Lesley, Men’s Captain Paul and Seniors’ Captain Pat for their incredible support, kindness and dedication. It was so lovely to see you all again.

As demand for our support continues to grow, fundraising events like this genuinely make a difference. Every pound raised helps us continue providing memory hearts and baby loss resources to hospitals and bereaved families when they need them most.

To everyone who played, donated, bid in the silent auction, bought raffle tickets or helped make today happen – thank you. Your support means more than you know. ❤️

While it’s been unbelievably hot, the work at Holding Hearts hasn’t slowed down for a second.

In fact… it’s growing.

Over the last few weeks, .bowles7 has been tirelessly making memory hearts in temperatures that most of us have been struggling to function in. Every single heart is made with so much love, ready to bring comfort to families facing the unimaginable.

At the same time, has quietly stepped in to take on so much of the logistics behind the scenes, making sure books, hearts and resources continue reaching hospitals and bereaved families across the UK.

As for me, I’m taking a little step back from the day-to-day for a couple of months, and I honestly couldn’t feel more grateful. Knowing Holding Hearts is in such safe hands is something I’m incredibly proud of.

But as we continue to grow, so does the need.

We’re looking for volunteers who can spare some time, fundraisers who’d like to support our work, and businesses or individuals who want to help us continue providing memory hearts and baby loss resources completely free to families and hospitals.

Because behind every parcel we send is a family who never imagined they’d need us.

On 20th September, I'll be taking on a marathon-distance challenge, covering 26.2 miles by walking and running to raise money for Holding Hearts, a Gloucestershire charity supporting families affected by baby loss.
