What a day! ☀️⛳️

Today we had the pleasure of joining the Captains’ Charity Day at Brickhampton Golf Club, where Holding Hearts is proud to be this year’s chosen Charity of the Year.

Despite temperatures soaring to around 35°C, golfers took to the course for a Texas Scramble, alongside a fantastic silent auction and raffle, all helping to raise vital funds for families experiencing pregnancy and baby loss.

A huge thank you to Ladies’ Captain Lesley, Men’s Captain Paul and Seniors’ Captain Pat for their incredible support, kindness and dedication. It was so lovely to see you all again.

As demand for our support continues to grow, fundraising events like this genuinely make a difference. Every pound raised helps us continue providing memory hearts and baby loss resources to hospitals and bereaved families when they need them most.

To everyone who played, donated, bid in the silent auction, bought raffle tickets or helped make today happen – thank you. Your support means more than you know. ❤️

While it’s been unbelievably hot, the work at Holding Hearts hasn’t slowed down for a second.

In fact… it’s growing.

Over the last few weeks, .bowles7 has been tirelessly making memory hearts in temperatures that most of us have been struggling to function in. Every single heart is made with so much love, ready to bring comfort to families facing the unimaginable.

At the same time, has quietly stepped in to take on so much of the logistics behind the scenes, making sure books, hearts and resources continue reaching hospitals and bereaved families across the UK.

As for me, I’m taking a little step back from the day-to-day for a couple of months, and I honestly couldn’t feel more grateful. Knowing Holding Hearts is in such safe hands is something I’m incredibly proud of.

But as we continue to grow, so does the need.

We’re looking for volunteers who can spare some time, fundraisers who’d like to support our work, and businesses or individuals who want to help us continue providing memory hearts and baby loss resources completely free to families and hospitals.

If you’ve only just found us, take a look through our page. You’ll see the difference our tiny hearts make and why every donation, volunteer and fundraiser matters so much.

Because behind every parcel we send is a family who never imagined they’d need us.

If you’d like to be part of what we’re building, we’d love to hear from you. ❤️

On 20th September, I'll be taking on a marathon-distance challenge, covering 26.2 miles by walking and running to raise money for Holding Hearts, a Gloucestershire charity supporting families affected by baby loss.

If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every contribution will help Holding Hearts continue providing vital support to bereaved families.

Thank you for your support and encouragement. ❤️

Special mention to who is joining me for the challenge and training!

Today we were invited to Woodland House at . A beautiful, purpose-built bereavement centre created for families experiencing pregnancy and baby loss.

It was incredibly special to see the space in person, meet some of the amazing people behind it, and spend time with the charities, fundraisers and individuals helping to support bereaved families through the hardest moments imaginable.

We’ve only recently started sending our Holding Hearts and books to Birmingham Women’s Hospital, so it meant a lot to be invited to visit and learn more about the incredible work taking place there.

Woodland House opened in 2024 and is described by the hospital as the first of its kind in a UK hospital setting. A calm, private space away from the busy wards where families can be supported with dignity, compassion and care.

Thank you so much for having us 🤍

Our amazing London Landmarks Half Marathon runners who have, so far, managed to raise an amazing £3,146 year to help our charity.

To put that in to context - that’s 2097 Holding Hearts.

Over 2,000 babies acknowledged, remembered and respected by a resin heart which means so much to so many families when they’re going through loss.

Runners you’re all amazing! (We are just missing Jade from our photos - but she’s there somewhere! 😂)

GO AND SMASH IT, GUYS!! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💪🏼
