🔥 IGNITE: STEPS TO ADULTHOOD RETURNS MONDAY 14th SEPTEMBER🔥
Our Steps to Adulthood sessions support neurodiverse young people and those with learning difficulties as they move towards greater confidence, independence and adulthood.
Aimed at young people aged 16–25, the sessions provide a welcoming and supportive space to meet others, build friendships and develop practical skills for everyday life.
There is a strong emphasis on life skills and independence, with activities shaped around the young people attending. This can include cooking and food preparation, budgeting and money skills, accessing the community, travel skills, communication, problem-solving, making choices, staying safe and developing confidence in everyday situations.
And importantly, it is still a youth session! There is plenty of time for socialising, games, trips, activities and having fun together, while developing skills naturally along the way.
📅 Mondays
⏰ 6.00pm–8.00pm
📍 Ron Smith Pavilion, Springbank Way, Cheltenham, GL51 0LH
👥 Ages 16–25
💷 £2 per young person, per session
🥤 Young people are also welcome to bring a little extra money if they would like to buy a drink or chocolate from our Community Café during the session.
Our aim is simple: to help young people build the skills, confidence and relationships they need to take their next steps towards adulthood and greater independence.
