Dear Parents and Carers,

The PTA, in partnership with the PE Department, will be running a Trainer Amnesty after Christmas to support students within our school community.

We are asking families to donate trainers or football boots that are no longer needed because a child or parent has grown out of them. These items will be passed on to students in school who are in need of suitable footwear for PE lessons and activities.

With many children and parents receiving new trainers at Christmas, this is the perfect opportunity to pass on old pairs rather than letting them go to waste.

We are collecting:

Trainers or football boots suitable for use on a 3G pitch

Any colour

In fairly good, wearable condition

How to donate:

Items can be dropped off at school reception or handed directly to the PE Department

Donations will be accepted after the Christmas holidays

This initiative has been very well received, and we hope it will help ensure all students are able to fully participate in PE and sport. We also plan to extend this scheme to include school shoes in the future.

WHAT A NIGHT!
We held our quiz night and it was brilliant, so brilliant we will probably start doing it once every 3 months with different themes!
HUGE SHOUTOUT to pur raffle prize donations and also to the Chelmer PTA team and of course those who attended.
We raised £752.08 for the school!
