🐝 Help us give Chelmsford a permanent bee- all money raised goes to FARLEIGH HOSPICE !

Chelmsford Beekeepers are raising funds to purchase one of the Buzz in the City bee sculptures from FARLEIGH HOSPICE and give it a permanent home in Oaklands Park for everyone in Chelmsford.

Thanks to amazing support so far, we’ve raised £1,725 of our £2,500 target - leaving just £775 to go.

Oaklands Park is home to Chelmsford Museum and the observatory beehive cared for by CBK members, making this a perfect location for the sculpture.

Some people have been incredibly generous ❤️, and we’ve already raised £1,400. Every penny goes directly to Farleigh Hospice so we can purchase a giant bee 🐝 sculpture for everyone to enjoy at Oaklands Park. I’ve set up a JustGiving page to purchase a large honey bee sculpture from Farleigh Hospice - for Oaklands Park. The aim is to have a bee sculpture that people can enjoy for years to come - and to highlight the indoor observation hive at Chelmsford Museum (one of the few places where you can actually watch bees at work).

🐝 Meet the Chelmsford Beekeeper!

This Friday and Saturday, head to the Full Circle shop at Farleigh Hospice, next to the Meadows Shopping Centre, for a buzzing opportunity to learn all about bees, beekeeping, and why they matter so much to our environment.

🍯 Sample delicious local honey, ask questions, and enjoy a sweet moment of connection with nature.

🎁 For the kids: free bee stickers and wildflower seed pads to help them become pollinator champions!

It’s a brilliant way to support our ecosystem, spark curiosity, and enjoy something special in the heart of Chelmsford.
