Our youth coaching (6-15yrs) continues tomorrow from 9:00 to 10:30 at Teledyne E2v employee car park, off Waterhouse Lane.

Weather forecast nice and dry but may be a tad chilly to start so sports clothing layers required. Also bring a drink.

Good luck to Stirling (u16) A***n (u14) John, Christopher and Aleksei (u10) racing at the Tony Asplin Memorial stage races at Colchester Sports Park tomorrow.

For the rest of our youths we will be back tomorrow at Teledyne E2v for more coaching 9:00 to 10:30

A great turnout this morning with 14 riders - where we focused on various bike handling skills plus echelon riding. Also got all 5 of the newer riders to the group with no confidence riding one handed to conquer their fear enough to high five.

We return to Teledyne E2V for our youth coaching tomorrow from 9:00 to 10:30am.

Weather not looking great after a mainly glorious week, but hopefully rain will hold off.

There is no youth coaching session tomorrow as the venue is unavailable- we will be returning next Saturday 11th April at 9:00am.

A good coaching session this morning focusing on braking, controlling speed when cornering, and body positioning when cornering; and finishing with the new favourite game of ‘musical parking bays’ (albeit there is no music -just a whistle to find a vacant parking bay before being eliminated from the game!!)

The is no session next week (Easter weekend) but we will return on 11th April.

We are back at Teledyne E2v for our youth coaching this Saturday 28th March 9am-10:30am.

We received notification of a number absences for this coming week due to other commitments, but there will be enough riders to focus on some core skills and fun riding.

Forecast is dry but will be a tad chilly - remember layers and gloves.

A great turnout today for the first Saturday coaching session of the year at the Teledyne E2v venue. We had 13 riders including 4 new riders joining the session, Annabelle, Frank, Samuel and Theo.

We went back to basics focusing on balance skills and braking.

We are back again next Saturday but there will be no session over the Easter weekend.

Colchester Rovers are hosting a 3-race series at Colchester Sports Park this year and Race #3 will be part of the Eastern Region Youth Circuit Series 2026.

The aim is to create opportunities for young riders to start racing/support their development on road bikes so we have scheduled maximum racing time for all youth categories - U8 to U16.

All 3 races are now live on British Cycling's website and opened to entries. We hope you'll be able to join us for all 3 races.
