5th/9th Chelmsford Scout Group We have three sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We all meet on a Tuesday evening in our HQ in Chelmsford. Bringing young people new adventures.

5th/9th was formed in 2004 by two groups which both needed what the other had. Since then with the dedication of the volunteer leaders and the support of the young people and their families with have grown into a busy and active Scout Group. We have three sections Beaver (ages 6 to 8), Cubs (ages 8 to 10 ½) and Scouts (ages 10

½ to 14). We all meet on a Tuesday evening at our HQ on Melbourne Avenue in Chelmsford. Please see our Website for more details about the group and sectional meeting times.

Learning something new, stepping outside comfort zones, and having a lot of fun along the way 💙🤍💚

Our Scouts have been working hard learning sign language and put their skills to the test by signing along to Green Green Grass 🎶👏

It’s amazing to see their confidence grow and the way they support each other every step of the journey. So proud of this group!

Our Cubs have been busy making beautiful flowers in preparation for our St George’s Day church parade this Sunday. So much imagination, colour, and teamwork on display! 🌸👏

Do you like it when the set falls down, the cast forget all their lines, the stage gets plunged into darkness or all the microphones give feed back at the same time !
