5th/9th Chelmsford Scout Group We have three sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We all meet on a Tuesday evening in our HQ in Chelmsford. Bringing young people new adventures.

Thank you for coming to 5th/9th Chelmsford Scout Group’s page.
5th/9th was formed in 2004 by two groups which both needed what the other had. Since then with the dedication of the volunteer leaders and the support of the young people and their families with have grown into a busy and active Scout Group. We have three sections Beaver (ages 6 to 8), Cubs (ages 8 to 10 ½) and Scouts (ages 10 ½ to 14). We all meet on a Tuesday evening at our HQ on Melbourne Avenue in Chelmsford. Our Scouts got busy in the kitchen for an Italian-themed cooking night, putting their culinary skills to the test and bringing a little taste of Italy to Scouts! 🍝🍅

🪡🧼 Make Do and Mend!

Our Scouts got hands-on with some practical life skills this week, tackling the challenge of fixing items and learning how to remove different stains. 🧵👕

From making things last longer to tackling those stubborn marks, they put their problem-solving skills to the test and discovered that sometimes, a little repair goes a long way! ♻️

Our Scouts took on the crate stacking challenge, testing their balance, teamwork and nerve as they climbed higher and higher! 💪 One crate at a time… until gravity had other plans! 😂
