Thank you to everyone who came to our 10th birthday celebration.
Special guests included the Mayor of Chelmsford, Sophie and Jonathan Burch, who's lean-to housed Growbabay when we first set up, and Peter and Noni Farrelly who founded Growbaby International .
Thank you to everyone who helped and contributed to the celebration, either with helping us set up, provision the yummy food, or gifts for our helpers. It was a really lovely day.

Thank you Kelly and all the helpers at Kinder Essex - Chelmsford who made these lovely crocheted hearts for us to give out at our Growbaby birthday celebration.

Thank you to Bonnie and the Child and Family Support Team from Essex County Council who came in this week as part of their volunteering program.
They helped us finish off our stock check and also get the shop ready for our 10th birthday party. (More to come on the party).
It looked amazing when they had finished! Thank you again!

⭐️💛🩵🩷We had an amazing week before we closed for the Christmas break! ⭐️💛🩵🩷

⭐️Thank you so much to Longacres Chelmsford Garden Centre for our amazing Christmas tree. We all had fun decorating it.
⭐️Thank you to Morrisons, Tesco, and our individual donors, for helping to fill our grotto with treats for our families.
⭐️Thank you to the Probation service for their gifts this year.
⭐️Thank you to John Lewis & Partners for donating some really beautiful clothes to pass on.
⭐️And most of all, thank you to everyone who has helped, come along on open sessions, donated throughout the year, and helped us be the amazing community we continue to be.

The shop is closed for its annual Christmas break, but will be open again on 7th January 2026.

We are open today, Wednesday 3rd September, 10am-1pm.

As always with donations, there is a list in the featured section of the group. The TLDR version is we need clothes 2-11yrs old, baby equipment, but not car seat or toys.

We are open tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd September, 10am- 1pm!

We have all recharged over the summer, we have restocked the rails, tea and biscuits, and are ready to go!

The Growbaby shop is having a break for the summer holidays. We will open again on 3rd September.

If you need anything urgent, please email us on [email protected]. The Facebook group is still working as normal, but things may take a bit longer for things to be approved.
