I am fundraising to support the fantastic work of the British Red Cross. The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led movement that connects those who have kindness to share, with the people who need it most. They help people and their communities prepare for, deal with, and recover from crises. Whether

that’s supporting someone following a hospital stay or an emergency, training people on how to save a life, helping refugees and asylum seekers who have been forced to leave their homes, or working with our Red Cross and Red Crescent partners across the world, we rely on the kind acts of our volunteers and supporters to ensure that everyone gets the help they need in a crisis. Whenever a humanitarian crisis occurs in the UK or overseas, the Red Cross is always one of the first organisations on the scene thanks to our local volunteers. They are guided by the seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement:

*Humanity
*Impartiality
*Neutrality
*Independence
*Voluntary service
*Unity
*Universality
