We care deeply about society and the environment and our objective is to be a powerful driver of positive social evolution - at scale.
→ Free and open
We don’t charge any fees for what we empower you to do (although there may be some fees charged by others that are beyond our control, see here for details) and our services are free to use by (and open to) anyone from anywhere across the world, as long as they abide by our Rules (please bear in mind however that your use of our platform may be restricted if required by applicable law).
→ How and why we are funded
We are funded voluntarily by the public and socially/CSR aware businesses and organisations and provide services that match capital and resources seeking social and environmental returns with individuals, businesses and organisations from all across the world that create these returns. We enable and empower the crowd to achieve their short and long term financial, commercial and social objectives – and we are the only combinatorial global platform that enables structured giving (social bond and equity/shares) and which carries out independent and physical (real-time and face-to-face) verification of those seeking to raise money (either for themselves or by others for them).

We are built around an age-old concept: you help me, I help you…..but the difference here being: you help me, I help you and together, we also help society and the environment. Through us, you can make a genuine difference, resulting in people leading better lives.

We want to help make the world a better place – but we know that we alone can’t make a meaningful positive difference to the world just by ourselves. However, if we enable others to achieve their personal or commercial objectives whilst, at the same time, giving them the scope to do something to make a positive difference themselves – then the combined, cumulative effects of many people and organisations across the world doing this will – we believe – result in a real and meaningful positive impact in society and the environment on a significant scale. We are, therefore, focused on galvanising those who use our services to harness the vast power of the global crowd to do well themselves, whilst at the same time, carrying out social actions that enrich society and the environment - locally, nationally and across the world. To our users: we are a spark that ignites imaginations and creates countless chain reactions; a catalyst for positive worldwide societal advancement.

Our official name is Re-Give Global. We are a registered non-profit organisation based in the UK. We are not a charity but a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (CRN: 08618502). We are exempted by Companies House from using the word 'Limited' or 'Ltd' after our name. See Contact for our registered address.
→ Why Re-Give is not a registered charity
An organisation cannot be registered as a charity if it has some purposes that are charitable and some that are not. Although Re-Give is a non-profit entity and is operated for the benefit of the public, it has some purposes that are not exclusively charitable (e.g it allows Askers that have commercial, for-profit objectives to use its services for personal and corporate benefit).
→ Who owns Re-Give? As a non-profit organisation, we have no shareholders. Corporate Governance and Management: who runs Re-Give? The people and resources behind Re-Give: we are a growing, centralised organisation and are run (and resourced) by a diverse group of business and technology professionals from around the world, both on a paid and gratis/pro-bono basis.
→ Why are the people running Re-Give doing this on a non-profit, no-fee basis? Simply – the opportunity to make a positive, lasting difference in the world. The people who run Re-Give have dedicated themselves to help make the world a better place for everyone. They get a salary of course, but only at standard industry rates, commensurate with their experience and expertise. Their motivation therefore is not personal monetary gain or public recognition – but the potential to do something greater than themselves.
→ The Board of Management:
Our Board of Management is led by Re-Give's founder and director, and in keeping with our open, equal opportunity and level playing field for all nature and to ensure a sense of equality and parity within our workforce and all those involved with Re-Give, no matter how small or large their role – we believe that the contribution of one group of people within our organisation should not be emphasised over another in public. For this reason, the Board opted not to have just their own details published here and, as it would be impractical to do so, also not to publish the details of everyone involved with Re-Give either. However, this does not mean that the members of the Board are anonymous or unknown or that they have not been subject to enhanced personal due diligence, as the full details of the Board are with all relevant Government entities, companies, organisations and individuals that we work with and are available to the public upon request.
