Chelmsford Chess club Chelmsford is a friendly club located in the middle of Chelmsford. We have players of all abilites,and ages. We have teams in the North Essex chess league.

It turns out that the county hotel is pretty booked all evening so we are going to have to move somewhere else. Think it probably best we go back to the alehouse as there is usually room there

The hotbox has a band tonight so we have decamped to the county hotel, which at the moment is quite busy though, there is a big party of people in but I think they are starting to leave so should be OK for some chess.

Hi, the Hotbox has an event on tonight so chess club will be in the bar at the county hotel. If you are the first to arrive you will need to grab some sets from the Hotbox. I was playing chess yesterday so won't be there tonight. Have fun!

Hi, apologies not posted for a while. Tonight the club is meeting at the County Hotel as Hotbox has a band on. Come down for a few friendly games of chess and a drink.

Hi the Hotbox has a band on tonight so we will be meeting at the alehouse from 7.00. There is a large selection of real ales and interesting ciders available so come down treat yourself to a new taste sensation and have a few games of chess.
