We were delighted to pop up alongside other fantastic organisations this Youth Voice Day at Anglia Ruskin University on Saturday!

It was lovely to meet young people from across Essex, chat about mental health and introduce them to how Renew can support them. We were also delighted to welcome young people to our stand to take part in some fun activities! 🎉

Creating spaces where young people feel supported and comfortable talking about their mental health is so important.

Thank you to Essex Boys and Girls Clubs and ECVYS - Essex Council for Voluntary Youth Services for hosting this wonderful event. 💚

A young person shouldn't need a diagnosis for their difficulties to be taken seriously. Nor should they have to reach crisis point before getting help.

The recently published Fonagy Review highlights the importance of early intervention and making mental health support accessible when people need it.

At Renew, we see the value of this approach through our counselling work with young people across Essex, including our early-intervention ED service, generously supported by The Prudence Trust and the Stone Family Foundation.

We welcome the review's findings, but it's vital that they lead to real change.
