Ever wondered what a Youth Group is and what we do?

A youth group serves a dual purpose of accommodating unstructured social interaction among different age groups. It also provides structural classes on various topics in a safe environment. A youth group also offers advice and support to all ages. Being part of a youth group can help young people develop important personal and interpersonal skills. It’s somewhere they can gain confidence and self-

esteem. It helps with the risk of becoming involved in unsafe activities such as alcohol, drugs, gangs and anti-social behaviour. With multicultural bridge building, young people can learn about others' beliefs. They offer alternative education and enhances their leadership development. A youth group teaches young people to respect the community they live in and brings them closer to the people in their community, thus they become less likely to cause the community problems. They then look for more solutions in tackling the problems they face within that community.
