Our craft group were delighted to be asked by Writtle Junior School to create a ” (not) living wall” for their classroom pod. Many hours of knitting and crocheting later together with a lot of planning and sewing we were able to come up with this. I think we did them proud. Lots of our members were involved and really enjoyed the project. Hmm what’s next ???

Happy new year everyone. Our crafty WI ladies have a new project for the village in the pipeline but need a bit of help.
Does anyone have any knitting yarn languishing in a cupboard that they might be happy to donate?
We need all shades of green as well as prettier flowery colours. ( we don’t need brown black navy grey thanks)

The school asked for some additions to their “Forest School” so of course Writtle WI were happy to oblige. We adorned their trees with “tree huggers” and the children love them.

Sorry for the late notice but does any of our members have a projector that we can borrow for tonight’s meeting? It has to be able to be linked to a laptop.
Our speaker tonight doesn’t have a projector so we won’t be able to see any pictures 😢
