Nayc North Avenue North Avenue Youth Centre is an independant charity based in Chelmsford. We also offer fantastic volunteer opportunties with ongoing training and support.

We welcome all young people from 8 to 18 and offer a wide variety of activites, projects and trips.

Don't forget tickets for our Halloween Parties must be bought by the end of tomorrow (Friday 25th October)!

Tickets will be on sale tomorrow at the centre during our seniors session 6-8pm as well as through our online system https://north-avenue-youth-centre.sumupstore.com/products

If ordering online, be sure to purchase the tickets for the correct party you will be attending and to add the names of all young people attending in the 'message to the merchant' section at checkout. There will be no tickets available on the door.

Please note that for our Juniors and Families Party, those aged 8 years old and above are welcome to attend independently. Those under 8 are also invited as long as a parent/carer comes along to join in the party with them. All under 8’s remain the responsibility of parents/guardians at all times.

We have 2 positions open at the moment, one is for a senior detached youth worker and the second is for a youth support worker. Do you have the experience required for either of these role and want to become part of a fantastic team? Our Story

A Youth Centre for young people aged 8 - 18, in and around the Melbourne area of Chelmsford since 2000. We usually run 3 sessions a week, for Seniors and one for the Juniors. North Avenue Youth Centre is a safe place, where young people are respected and valued.

We do sports, cooking, arts, pool, PacMan, games, PlayStation and anything else you can think of! We also run specific youth-led projects, where young people learn about and discuss the things that are important to them. We listen and support young people to plan, organise and take action on the things that matter to them. We also hold a fortnightly session where young people are invited to be part of making decisions with us, this could be for example, how we spend money, what the expectations of youth workers and young people are or where we plan our next residential to.

Get in touch and speak to a youth worker about your ideas, what you want to see at NAYC. We welcome all young people to our centre and are always happy for new members to come along. If you ever find that you are struggling to attend sessions or trips and events because money is an issue please get in touch and we will do all we can to enable each young person to have equal opportunities
