Our Cubs had a fantastic and memorable evening to Cheddar Fire Station

During their visit they gain a real insight into the vital work carried out by our fire fighters. It was a great opportunity for them to learn firsthand just how important and dedicated our emergency services are, and the role they play in keeping our community safe every day.

Throughout the visit, the cubs were given a guided tour of the station, where they explored the fire engines, equipment, and facilities. They showed great enthusiasm as they asked questions and discovered how fire fighters respond to emergencies, work as a team, and train to deal with a wide range of situations.

A huge thank you to the fire fighters for their time, effort, and for giving the Cubs such a warm welcome - we could have some future firefighters within our group!

A busy weekend of fundraising for the scouts..a bingo event and hosting a check point serving tea and cakes to long distance cyclists. Our Group is always interested to hear from anyone who would like to support what we do!
