Simon from KSS gave an update on the status of the Air Ambulance as of now. It has 3 parts to its format:
HEMS ‘emergency room’ care for patients attended by one of 3 helicopters or one of the rapid response vehicles now being used (one of which Rotary District 1120 donated)
A patient after care service, which gives patients who are treated, an overview of their trauma and offers them to meet up with the staff who cared for them at the start of their journey to hospital
CPR training which is offered to anyone who wishes to take it up. Over 100,000 people have been trained so far.
Sue presented Simon with a donation for KSS from Rotary members collections during her Presidential year.
