Nucleus Arts is a non-profit arts organisation based in Medway, Kent, set up in 2002 by the Halpern Chartitable Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1096478).

We have a dedicated workshop space in our Chatham High Street location where we run a variety of creative workshops. Nucleus Arts' Chatham Art Centre (formerly the New Art Centre) is the largest artist's studio complex in North Kent. It's a creative hub, a meeting space for like minds and a proven incubator for local artistic talent. In addition to studio space our Chatham Art Centre offers a stunning gallery space for hire, a courtyard café, a kiln room, photography dark room and conference facilities for hire. Nucleus Arts Rochester Shop/Gallery/café is a not-for-profit retail project promoting the creative arts in Medway and Kent, offering local artists, designers, writers and musicians a platform from which to sell their creations direct to the public in a relaxed, contemporary retail space.
