11 jumpers still to leap this coming Monday.
On Monday 28th September the remaining 11 members of our team (congratulations to Sam and Kash from Edensor who successfully completed their skydive) will attempt their jumps. So there is still plenty of time to support them with a donation and help us reach our target. The 11 made up of staff and people we support from Cabrini, Fostering and Adoption and Duckyls Farm have all put in so much preparation, taken on the challenge and raised money to help create more opportunities for vulnerable children and adults supported by Diagrama. As they prepare to take that final leap on Monday, we want to give them all the encouragement and support we can.

The team is aiming to raise £25,000, which will help fund accessible learning spaces, sensory and wellbeing resources, enrichment activities, therapeutic support and outdoor learning opportunities. Diagrama Foundation appointed to deliver Day Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Bromley

Diagrama Foundation, a Kent based charity, is now successfully managing the Astley Centre as part of a new contract delivering Day Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.

The news that Diagrama are operating the Council’s Learning Disabilities Complex Needs Day Service follows the Executive decision to award an initial five-year contract, with the opportunity to extend it for three further years, with an estimated value of £8 million over the life of the contract. The appointment builds on Diagrama’s strong track record in Bromley, where it has successfully delivered an award-winning Supported Living Service since April 2021.

Councillor Diane Smith, Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health said, “We are pleased to be working with the Diagrama Foundation to help deliver these much-valued services. I know the team have been working hard to ensure that there is continuity of care and support as we seek to continue to deliver high-quality support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.”

David McGuire, Chief Executive of Diagrama Foundation, said, “We are delighted to have been appointed to deliver these important day services in Bromley. Our priority will be to ensure continuity for the people who currently attend, their families and the staff. From there, we will focus on co-production, working closely with service users, staff and family members to develop the service, ensuring that people’s views, preferences, strengths and wishes help shape future plans.”
