Free family activities at Burntwood Leisure Centre this afternoon with our friends from Spark - Burntwood.

Our sports bank will also be open from 2:30pm in reception with lots of children's & adult football boots, sports t-shirts/shorts and various other bits of kit.

All this kit has been kindly donated to us for people to take what they need for free.

Due to the amount of donations our sports bank will be at Burntwood Leisure Centre today with gym/ adult sportswear.

Football boots, kits & children's wear will be available on Thursday afternoon alongside our family fun sports session on the grass outside the centre. Free for families to attend 2-3:30pm.

The HAF (Holiday activities and food program) at Burntwood Leisure Centre starts tomorrow. Free funded places went within minutes of bookings opening and we are looking forward to seeing new and old faces alike.

If you are booked on and can no longer attend please can you remove yourself from our register so someone else can have the place.

We can appreciate how expensive sports kit is for children in sports teams, or just kitting them out for PE at school. This is why we have our pop up sports bank for anyone to come and use.

Our next pop up shop will next be at Burntwood Leisure Centre on Thursday 7 August.

If you want to donate clean children's football boots/trainers and sports kit please bring it along to the centre anytime beforehand in a bag FAO Jules.

From 2-4pm on the 7th August we will have our sports bank open to anyone to come and take what they need, swap items or donate kit.

Fancy getting active with the family? Come join us with our friends at Spark - Burntwood for some free sports & activities on the grass outside the centre.

There will be lots of equipment to pick up and play with your family such as bat & ball, soft archery or bowls or join in with our staff and play some team games like football, dodgeball or cricket.

This is on the grass outside the leisure centre, in the event of bad weather we may have to cancel at short notice.

Active Fridays will be continuing throughout the summer holidays with our usual mix of weekly sports activities like soft archery, badminton, table tennis & swimming as well as our monthly dance and singing visitors.

Fri 25 July - Cricket
Fri1 Aug - Singing & music session with Claire from The Singing Academy Rugeley
Fri 8 Aug - Dodgeball games
Fri 15 Aug - Dance instructor Leela from L’Rhythmix Dance Academy
Fri 22 Aug - Basketball games
Fri 29 Aug - Football games

1-2pm: Activities in the hall- £3 per adult (carer goes free)
2:15-3pm: swimming session - £5 per adult (carer goes free)
£5 for both sessions

Burntwood Leisure Centres Tot's sports session is running throughout the summer holidays. Aimed at under5s our session has soft play equipment, bouncy castle and a sports coach with lots of sports kit. Supervision is required at all times.
