Chartham Women's Institute Part of the largest women’s organisation in the UK; a trusted place for all women of all generations, to share experiences and learn from each other.

Membership offers the opportunity to meet other women and make a difference in the community. We meet at the Village Hall on the third Thursday of each month; 7.15 for 7.30 pm.

We start our 2026-27 programme this Thursday, 16th April, by welcoming Andrew McNally, telling us about "Living in Jordan".
The competition is to bring something beginning with the letter "A".

Chartham WI had a splendid Christmas meeting this month. Members and guests enjoyed a delicious finger buffet whilst being entertained by the Greyhound Buskers. The evening ended with drawing the raffle, where there were a lot of prizes.

Instead of an evening meeting in August, we often have an afternoon out somewhere.
Today, we went to Davison's Mill at Stelling Minnis. We heard about the history of the mill and windmills in Kent generally. Some members climbed up to take the view and earn their cream tea ( although we all had one anyway!).
It is run by volunteers, so do support them if you can and pay them a visit!
