On Sunday 3rd May 2026, club members and friends completed the 14 mile charity walk along the Bridgwater to Taunton canal. It was great to combine this with a social event and have lunch with some of our supporters at Maunsel Lock Tea Rooms, which was the halfway point

The total donations raised for Children's Hospice South West for this charity walk is: £1,155.

Our next fundraiser is on Saturday 9th May at St. Mary's Church, Chard which will be a concert. "A Night At The Musicals".

Thank you for the resilience you showed in the face of polio. Thank you for giving so many a second chance to breathe, to live, to hope.
Today, because of the polio vaccine, millions of children are protected from a disease that once caused fear and paralysis across the world.
This World Immunization Week, we honor that journey, from survival to prevention.
We celebrate how far we’ve come, and we recommit to ensuring no child ever has to face polio again.
