Please welcome Agatha’s Space CIC’s online shop on Vinted! 🛍️

We want to generate income into the organisation and help make our work financially sustainable. Alongside applying for funding, we want to earn our own income to keep our sessions going and support our community.

Imagine a world where funding is no longer available. How would we survive? How would we continue doing the great work we do on the ground?

Our dream is for Agatha’s Space to sustain its work through income we generate ourselves. To make that dream a reality, we need to start now, and our shop is one of the ways we are doing this.

We have just opened it few hours ago but before we had even finished setting it up, we had already sold items!

Take a tour, have a look at our shop, follow our page and share it with others so we can reach as many customers as possible. Every purchase helps us continue our work.

Behind these covered faces we share here, there are real women with real dreams, real skills and real ambitions. We hide our faces because the HIV stigma still makes us afraid of how people might treat us if they know we are living with HIV it is very sad we wish we can just be normal. But, we still deserve to be recognised and celebrated.

Today at Agatha's Space CIC we celebrate our sister Celina! 💚

Celina is a warrior! A Champion and has a very positive vibe! We feel it if she is not in the room. she is a woman living with HIV and 2 years ago She fought cancer. Despite all these challenges, She continues to inspire us and never stopped dreaming big! She has just been enrolled at a college in the city, she is taking another step towards becoming a Social Worker Come on!!!!!!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾. We are so proud of her!

At Agatha’s Space CIC, we support women to become who they want to be. We encourage their ambitions, help them build confidence, build skills and help them to navigate the Health Care systems. We walk alongside them through our one to one coaching as they work towards their goals. Because we know that journey is not always easy especially if you are a warrior!

With or without HIV, women deserve opportunities to learn, grow and succeed. HIV does not define who we are or what we can achieve.

We see a woman, not a virus. We see skills, not death.

Since we registered Agatha’s Space CIC a year ago, we have helped women take steps into education and finding jobs and structured volunteer opportunities. 2 have enrolled at a college, and 1 has enrolled on an English course and few more enrolments pending approval.

Congratulations, Celina. Your dreams matter, and so do you❤️❤️❤️.

We have received many requests from hospitals for knitted and crocheted hats, cardigans, jumpers and booties for premature babies in NICU wards. However, our wool supplies are running low, and this project has no dedicated funding to purchase more.

The women at Agatha’s Space CIC give their time, skills and creativity to make these items. To continue responding to hospital requests, we need support from our community.

If you have wool to donate, please contact Agatha on 07383 146380. Your contribution will help us turn donated materials into clothing for premature babies.
