It was a lovely morning, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to support our community of wives, affiliates, girlfriends, and servicewomen.
We love seeing familiar and new faces . We will hopefully see you at the next one! 🎶🍰

☕️ It’s Back… The Coffee Morning You Pretend You’re “Just Popping Into”

🎶Fancy a Thursday morning escape? Come join The Military WAGS Choir (Catterick Garrison) for our Coffee Morning.

The event where you swear you’ll only stay ten minutes and somehow leave three hours later, full of cake and gossip.

The essentials:

🗓 When: Thursday 18th June
⏰️9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Where: Richmond Town Hall
🎟 Entry: £2 cheaper than a latte and far more entertaining.

What’s on?
🍰 Cakes: Homemade, delicious, and absolutely not calorie‑counted.
🎟 Raffle: Win a prize, or at least pretend you nearly did.
👋 Community: Come for the brew, stay for the chinwag.

Every penny raised supports the choir and let’s be honest, we’re worth supporting because we will sing at you until you agree.

🎶 A Powerhouse Partnership for a Fantastic Cause! 🫖🍰

We are absolutely thrilled to be joining forces with the marvelous Hawes Silver Band to raise vital funds for Fight Bladder Cancer!

💖 A cause that is so close to our hearts.💖

Every single note sung and every scone enjoyed helps support those living with bladder cancer, making this an afternoon of music that truly matters.

We don’t want to blow our own trumpets (we’ll leave that to the brilliant Hawes Silver Band 😉🎺), but Saturday 18th July is officially shaping up to be the best afternoon of the summer! ☀️

The Military WAGS Choir Catterick and the band are teaming up for a gorgeous afternoon of spectacular music, exceptional company, and most importantly absolute mountains of scones, jam, and cream. 🫖✨️
Whether you’re team "jam first" or team "cream first," all are welcome!

Remembering the Heroes of D-Day

Today, June 6th, we pause to mark the anniversary of the D-Day landings a pivotal moment in history that demanded unimaginable courage, sacrifice, and resilience.

As a choir of military wives, girlfriends, and families, the profound weight of this day is never far from our hearts. We understand the strength it takes to watch loved ones serve, but today we look back with the utmost humility at the generations before us who faced the ultimate test on the beaches of Normandy.

We remember the 156,000 Allied troops who crossed the Channel, the families who waited anxiously at home, and the thousands who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we cherish today.

When you go home, tell them of us and say,
For your tomorrow, we gave our today.

Our thoughts today are with the veterans, the fallen, and the entire Armed Forces community.
We sing to keep their memories alive, ensuring that their legacy of bravery is never forgotten.

Lest we forget. ❤️🤍💙

🌟 Happy Volunteers’ Week! 🌟

This week is all about celebrating the incredible people who give up their time to keep our community singing, growing, and thriving. Today, we want to shine a massive, well deserved spotlight on two groups of people who work tirelessly behind the scenes: our amazing Committee and our dedicated Trustees. 👏💖

Behind every rehearsal, event, and successful milestone, there is a team of volunteers working standard days and then dedicating their evenings and weekends to keep everything running smoothly.

To Our Wonderful Committee:
Thank you for your endless energy, organisation, and passion. From managing the day-to-day logistics to keeping us all connected and motivated, you are the heartbeat of our group. We simply couldn't do what we do without your hard work and big hearts!
