The impressive 'new' mill, operational from only 1950 till 1968. It was just as dominant as the Old Mill, running down Mill Street.

Ultimately demolished in 1985. Would have made cracking flats or offices if it had been saved. It was considered as new premises for then council, Cumnock and Doon Valley but it wasn't to be 😔.
