Maybe that’s what makes chorus life so special… we come for the singing… but we stay for the people. The laughter. The connection. The feeling of belonging.

Friends of PICU are looking for fantastic local businesses, artisan makers, crafters and stall holders to join us at our Family Fun Day 2026 on Saturday 5th September 2026 at The Cleveland Bay Pub, Chandlers Ford.

Happy 50th Birthday LABBS - the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers

We had a fantastic party last night to celebrate 🥳

We started outside sharing special glasses, cereal boxes and colanders to watch the eclipse!

Soon the party was in full swing as we welcomed past members and were entertained with skits from all sections and the fabulous Dollies. We had a groovy 70s themed buffet and the most amazing birthday cake made by our beautiful baritone Andrea.

Thank you LABBS and we can’t wait for more celebrations at convention in October.

💛 International Self-Care Day at Friends of PICU 💛

Last Friday, we marked International Self-Care Day by delivering these thoughtful self-care packages to the bedsides of families staying with their children in PICU.

When you’re spending long days at your child’s bedside, taking a moment to care for yourself can often feel impossible. We hope these small gifts provided a little comfort, a chance to pause, and a reminder that our families are being thought of during such a difficult time.

Each care package included a few treats and essentials to help brighten someone’s day – and they are only possible because of the incredible generosity of our supporters.
