Last month must have been Spring Cleaning month because you brought the Caterham Repair Café 7 vacuum cleaners (5 of the same make!), 3 radios, 2 turntables, a card shuffler, a drum module, some necklaces, kitchen appliances, power tools, trousers, a stool to re-cover, a drum machine, an acoustic guitar, a sewing machine – the list goes on….

We are a friendly community group that helps you – and the planet – by keeping valuable items in use and out of the dump. Bring your broken items and our volunteers will do their best to repair them, whether they’re electrical, mechanical, furniture, toys, or anything else that needs some TLC. If you are not sure if we can help then please send us a detailed email (including photos if possible) to [email protected]

We meet at The Westway Centre, 25 Chaldon Road, CR3 5PG, alongside the Westway Common. Our next session is this Saturday, 9th May, from 10:30am–1:00pm (last repairs accepted at 12:30pm but possibly earlier if we are really busy).

There’s no charge for our efforts (just for major components), though we welcome donations in support of The Westway Centre and the Caterham & District Food Bank.

If you’d like to help – by repairing, greeting visitors, or just seeing what goes on – we’d love to see you!
