⚽Juniors Night at Derg Valley Youth Club 🎨

A great night with our Junior members at Derg Valley Youth Club! The group got stuck into a mix of activities, from arts and crafts 🎨 to fun games and physical activities ⚽

It was brilliant to see everyone getting to know each other more, having fun, and building confidence in a relaxed and supportive space ✨

Enjoy the break everyone 😄 We wil be closed from Friday 27th March and back on Tuesday 14th April see you all after easter 🐣 👋

🔥 Big Night at Derg Valley Youth Club! 🔥

Our Junior members were in full action mode this week at Derg Valley Youth Club! From fast-paced competitive rounders matches and loads of free play fun, the club was buzzing with energy, teamwork and plenty of laughs. 🏃‍♂️⚡
A huge highlight of the night was welcoming Ruairi and Laura from North West Youth Services, who joined us to run a Youth Consultation with our amazing young people. 💬
This was all about putting young voices front and centre. Our members shared their ideas, experiences and thoughts about what matters most to them in their youth club and community. It was brilliant to see so many young people speaking up, getting involved and helping shape the future of youth services. 🙌

✨✨Happy International Women’s Day!✨✨

We will be celebrating our young women aged 12+ from Sperrin and Derg tomorrow night, 9th of March, from 6pm-8pm in Strabane Youth Resource Centre. Consent forms have been sent out for those attending. If you haven’t received one, drop us a message and we can send one to you.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Friday club will not be operating for a while. Youth club will be open Wednesday and Thursday nights for inters drop in instead of Fridays. Tuesday juniors will continue as normal.

✨👏🏻 Castlederg & Strabane TBUC Celebration Event 👏🏻✨

A huge well done to all the young people who took part in the Castlederg & Strabane Area TBUC programme. From start to finish, we had an absolute ball!

We wrapped up the programme in style with a delicious two‑course meal in Martha’s Vineyard, followed by bowling, a movie, a combo, and deluxe ice‑cream, the perfect way to celebrate everyone’s hard work and participation.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming all our members back to club after the midterm. See you all again from Tuesday onwards.

💜 Castlederg & Strabane TBUC Residential 💜

We had an incredible two‑night residential with young people from Castlederg, Sion Mills and Strabane. The group threw themselves into a packed programme of activities from team challenges and archery tag to nightline sessions, campfire s’mores and creating our social‑action graffiti art pieces. Each area now has its own artwork celebrating belonging and friendship.

We’re excited to get home, recharge, and gear up for our final celebration trip to Martha’s Vineyard and Brunswick MovieBowl tomorrow ✨

✨ Derg Valley Junior Club Update ✨

Junior Club on Tuesday nights has been expanding and the buzz has been brilliant. Now welcoming 45+ young people to our junior sessions. Please have a look at at the fun we have got up.

A quick reminder that we’ll be closed next week for the midterm break. Please spread the word to all other parents not on social media or who may not be aware.

All weekday clubs will be back the week beginning 16th February.

✨ Derg Valley Youth Club is off for Midterm ✨

Tomorrow night (Fri 6th Feb) Inters club will not be running due to Castlederg & Strabane staff teams updating safeguarding training.

Over the midterm we are we are excited to take our T:BUC Castlederg & Strabane Group on a two-night residential, wrapping up the programme on Friday 13th of February with a celebration at Martha’s Vineyard and Brunswick MovieBowl.

All other clubs will resume after the break — see you then!
