Come along, get involved, meet the team, and try a session for yourself. All we need from you on the night is an emergency contact and any important medical details.

What an absolutely brilliant day at Birkland today for our Threave U10 Girls Soccerfest.

A massive thank you to all the teams who took part – Threave Rovers Youth Development Girls, Heston Rovers Football Club Girls, Soccer Bees, Galloway Thistle Youth Football Club Sc045742 and Morton Thistle Juniors Girls. Nearly 90 girls on the pitch representing five teams… what a fantastic advert for girls’ football in Dumfries and Galloway!

The girls were superb throughout. Cracking games, great goals and some real standout performances. Days like this show we’re doing something right in the region.

Huge thanks to:
Sheila and Catrina in the Shy Hut for keeping us all fed and watered.

Stacey and Paulina for raising around £250 with the Jellycats and Sweetie competition – fundraising is so important in keeping our club going.

Coach Ella for keeping the matches running smoothly all day.

Today our U10 girls travelled to Wallace Hall, Thornhill for the Morton Thistle Festival – and what a brilliant event it was!
With 15 teams in attendance, the day was packed with matches, a beat-the-goalkeeper challenge, the fire service on site for the kids to chat and interact with, and a fun tombola too.

Our girls took on QOS, Heston, Soccerbees, Galloway Thistle, Northbank and Crosshouse, and they were excellent throughout. They produced some really fantastic football at times, and every single player played their part.
Special moments to celebrate: one of our girls made her first ever official match appearance, and another scored her first goals for the club! Well done girls!

A huge thank you to Louise, Wayne and the whole Morton team for organising such a well-run and enjoyable day.

Our U12 girls headed to Galabank on Saturday 25th July to take on Annan Girls – and what a brilliant day it was!

Really competitive matches with some fantastic goals scored, including one belted in from the halfway line and a few of our girls netting their first for the club.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.

A big thank you to Annan Athletic Ladies & Girls FC for hosting us – hopefully we can return the favour and host a match between the clubs soon.
