Happy 1st May everyone. ( Hopefully our amazing 🌞 weather will return for the weekend) .
Just a wee reminder that Fareshare is on at the usual time tonight from 8.45 at Springholm Memorial Hall .
There will be no collections on Monday 4th and Friday 8th . The next Fareshare after tonight will be Monday 11th May .

Fareshare will be on as usual tonight from 8.45pm Springholm Memorial Hall. Volunteers will be taking a break on Easter Monday , so next Fareshare after tonight is on Friday 10th April.

A great time at Springholm School this week! Thank you to members of Springholm Community HubSpringholm Memorial Hall for all of your hard work transforming the school garden at Springholm Primary School . Following work in the rain on Tuesday , today , we welcomed 6 volunteers from Jacob’s who worked all afternoon to make the garden and planters look amazing !!! The weather was challenging and stopped parents working on Wednesday, but we are looking forward to meeting up after the Easter holiday . We are so proud of the results of the first community project from Springholm Community Hub 😊
Thank you as well to Tesco Kirkcudbright In The Community for the kind donation of flowers for the planters 😊xx

Update on the wee black cat found outside Springholm Primary school around 6pm , kindly taken to vets in CD , hes a black young entire male cat, no chip,
Hopefully his owner can be contacted xx

Hi everyone. Next Tuesday afternoon , volunteers from Springholm Community Hub and Volunteers from Jacob’s are working together to begin to tidy up the Garden at Springholm Primary School which has become very overgrown. Our vision is to create a space for children who choose to spend time in a peaceful natural environment during playtimes and for learning opportunities about nature and wildlife . Our volunteers are travelling by train and so we need to provide some gardening equipment for them to use . If anyone has a wheelbarrow that we could borrow , also secateurs/ rakes / loppers we would be really grateful ( please message ) On the following day Wednesday, 1.30 pm to approximately 3.30 pm some parents have offered to come along and continue with the tidying etc . If anyone would like to come along for a wee bit of gardening/ company you would very welcome .
