🌈🌈This World Mental Health Day, we want to share something that sits at the heart of everything we do at APCAM: LISTENING 🌈🌈
Our services are shaped by the parents, families and young people we work alongside. Their lived experience shows us what is working, what isn't, and where the gaps are, and it guides every decision we make.
Swipe through to see what that looks like in practice.
🌈Using lived experience to inform our work
The people who best understand what support is needed are the ones who have needed it. Their voices shape how our services grow and change.
🌈Working with families to make our mental health services accessible
We fit our support around families, not the other way round, so that getting help feels possible rather than like another barrier.
🌈Making sure young people are advocated for in education provision
Whether it is mainstream, specialist or alternative provision, we stand alongside young people and their families so their voices are heard and their needs are met.
🌈Working in the community to provide a service that meets local need
We are rooted in Carterton and West Oxfordshire. What our community tells us is what guides our work.
If you or your family are finding things hard right now, you don't have to face it alone. Get in touch with us at apcamgroup.org.uk
