Girls Brigade is Back!
We’re thrilled to announce that Girls Brigade returns on Thursday 4th September at Carstairs Community Centre!

Enrolment Night
Thursday 4th September
time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
📍 Carstairs Community Centre
Come along to register, reconnect, and kick off another exciting year!

Regular Sessions Begin
Starting Thursday 11th September
• Explorers (P1–P3): 6:30pm – 7:30pm
• Juniors (P4–P7): 6:30pm – 8:00pm
• Brigaders (S1–S6): 6:30pm – 8:00pm

We can’t wait to welcome back all our amazing girls—and we’re always excited to meet new faces too!

Costs
• One-time registration: £50
• Weekly fee: £2

Join the Carstairs Community Centre Cash ball

Looking to support the centre? Then join the community cash ball. As you know the community centre are in the process of asset transfer from South Lanarkshire council. This means the centre no longer receives funds from the council for the maintenance and up keep/running costs. A community event was held in 2024 inviting community members to join groups to support the centre and one of those are fundraising. Myself and Nanette Melvin are organising the cash ball and all community members, hall user groups and support can join. If you are interested and wanting to join, please see below :

£1 a ball/week
Prize draw every Monday
No limit on number of balls
Prize money : half of entries eg 50 entries= £25 win
Other half money return to centre
The more entries the bigger the win !

Hi everyone, unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to run this Thursdays GB night. Unfortunately we do not have enough officers available to run the night. We can only apologise for this and We will be back as normal the following Thursday, we hope you all understand xx
