Summer holidays are on the horizon and as wonderful as family trips can be everyone, for some Autistic children, airports present a real challenge. Noisy, crowded, highly regimented, there are concerns families may have about taking their child to an airport environment.
That's why Queens University Belfast is hosting free evenings at George Best City Airport to give Autistic children an opportunity to experience the airport environment and get used to it on safe and controlled terms.
These Autism in the Air events have limited places, offered on a first-come first-serve basis. For anyone who's interested, please contact Dr Nichola Booth at [email protected].
