Following on from January’s funding confirmation, today marks another step forward in obtaining planning permission for our new 4G pitch. 🎉⚽️🥅

Once again thank you to all who have made this progression possible, Carryduff Primary School Education Authority, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Choice Housing, Councillor Brian Higginson, Edwin Poots MLA and not forgetting all our local representatives, councillors and MLAs.

Planning Permission Granted for New 4G Pitch at Carryduff Primary School

Councillor Brian Higginson and Edwin Poots MLA have welcomed the positive decision at today’s Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council Planning Committee, where planning permission was granted for the new 4G pitch at Carryduff Primary School.

Having played a major role in helping to deliver the project and secure the necessary support, we are delighted to see the development take another significant step forward.
With funding secured over a month ago, today’s decision brings this fantastic community facility closer to becoming a reality.

Once completed, the new pitch will provide a valuable sporting resource for pupils, local sports clubs and the wider Carryduff community, helping to encourage participation in sport and promote healthy, active lifestyles.

We look forward to seeing work progress in the months ahead as this important community project moves towards construction.
