After last year, all we could ask for was a dry day – and we’ve got it! ☀️

🚶‍♂️ 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀!

🕦 11:30am

🎶 The Orange Parade will leave Woodburn Playing Fields and make its way through the town centre to officially open the Orange Arch.

⚔️ At the same time, the Historical Re-enactment Parade will leave Carrickfergus Town Hall.

🏰 Both parades will meet at Carrickfergus Castle to await the arrival of King William III.

👑 1:00pm – The Royal Landing

Watch as King William III lands on the shores of Carrickfergus before leading the combined parade through the town and onwards to Marine Gardens for the parade break.

🚔 Due to the scale of the event, some traffic disruption is expected throughout the day.

The PSNI, event marshals and security teams will be working hard to ensure the safety of all participants and visitors.

⚠️ Diversions will be in place at:

➡️ Downshire

Where safe to do so, traffic will be allowed to continue once parade sections have passed. However, visitors should allow extra travel time and expect delays.
