Silverdale WI meets on the first Thursday of the month (in May usually the 2nd; in December usually a tickets-only Christmas party) in the Gaskell Hall, Emesgate Lane, Silverdale LA5 0RA. We have a lively programme of events including regular walks, meals out, theatre trips, Rummikub evenings and one-offs such as climbing wall, abseiling, coach trips - whatever the members want, we'll try to make it happen. We are proud to be part of the National Federation of WIs and the Cumbria-Westmorland Federation of WIs (even though we're over the county border). We are also in the Dallam Group of WIs and have a couple of events a year with our neighbours from Arnside, Beetham, Burton, Heversham, Holme, Storth and the Yealands Wis. For more information see our web page, or our noticeboard outside the Gaskell Hall, or just turn up at one of our monthly meetings. We look forward to meeting you!
