Hi everyone, just a heads up. If you walk around Thwaite Brow Woods, you may have started to notice new signs on trees. They’ve been put up by the group to share a bit of information about the different trees, their history, and why they’re important. Worth a look next time you’re out for a walk. 😀👍🏻

We've had some vandalism in the woods.
It's one thing to make dens, but please don't cut down or break living trees to do so. And please don't build fires against living trees as it damages them and is a fire hazard in very dry periods as we have had lately.
We've also had to repair a gate which had been completely ripped off it's post. It's really disheartening for the volunteers to have to deal with vandalism, so please think of who is going to have to fix the damage caused.
