It was great to see lots of amazing Cubs from 1st Carnforth Scouts using Silverhelme Scout Activity Centre to develop their Den Building skills. They learnt about how to make stable structures, using ropes & string to make them more secure and also learning to use some tools & the importance of proper PPE ... plus having LOTS OF FUN. They were a credit to Scouting.

A big THANK YOU to all the amazing volunteers who help maintain Silverhelme Scout Activity Centre. There has been a lot of activity on site already in 2024 - including improving the camping areas, laying new paths, adding fences and hedging, updating the sewers, improving the Lodge building, adding a Defib ... the list is almost endless !

The volunteer wardens have been very busy sorting out issues with the toilet block. New manhole and drains have been installed to rectify the issues.
