Want to see local rare film footage from Cumbria Film Archive? 📽️🍿

On the 23rd October, at 7pm, a series of short films will be shared at Mansergh Community Hall. The suggested donation of £4 will help cover the team’s costs. Any further profit will allow the hall to put on further events.

No need to book - just turn up and see if you can recognise places in the past!

There are a couple of places left on this if anyone is interested. I’ve been to one and I highly recommend it. It’s not a full day as such, 2 types of yoga for an hour and a half and very good food.

This was 40th year of organising the fell race and country fair. It was a great event with the usual marvellous cakes and. bacon baps.
It was made possible by volunteers from the village and around who did a marvellous job before, during and after the event.
Particular thanks go to the landowners who once again kindly allowed access to their land for car parking and the start/finish. Peter Prickett went the extra yard too by putting a gate in a wall to allow access from the starting field onto the fell as well as mowing at the last minute. Thank you Peter and Michelle, we really appreciate your support.
See you next year on 29 May 2027.
