This was 40th year of organising the fell race and country fair. It was a great event with the usual marvellous cakes and. bacon baps.
It was made possible by volunteers from the village and around who did a marvellous job before, during and after the event.
Particular thanks go to the landowners who once again kindly allowed access to their land for car parking and the start/finish. Peter Prickett went the extra yard too by putting a gate in a wall to allow access from the starting field onto the fell as well as mowing at the last minute. Thank you Peter and Michelle, we really appreciate your support.
